How It's Made

At the core of our cold process soaps is a base of nourishing plant oils, each chosen for its specific contribution to the skin and the structure of the bar. Under the bright Taurus sun, we prepare peony flower essence in our garden, infusing the bar with a soft Venusian radiance. Potentiated water is water endowed with intention and vitality. We source our water directly from a natural spring next to our home in the Catskill Mountain Watershed. Untreated and unfiltered, it has been lab-tested as perfectly balanced and free from microplastics, forever chemicals, and the pollutants common in municipal systems. The living water is then placed in jars we carry outside under full moons, new moons, and significant cosmic events. Prayers are said over the waters and occasionally a crystal is used within or overtop of the water. Each bar is housed in a locally letterpressed, environmentally responsible, Italian cotton-blend box. The imagery on our box pulls from ancient alchemical symbolism, honoring the elements of soap making and the cycle of renewal. The design was created by Matthew and Natalie and drawn by Robert M. Place.

Care & Use

The Ritual: Lather the bar between your hands or directly onto wet skin. Breathe in the rich floral oils and let it soften your thoughts. Rinse slowly, and let the moment be one of quiet celebration– for beauty, for care, for the love that surrounds us. This bar is also a beautiful companion to a warm bath, infusing the water with its delicate scent and softening presence.
