TU·ET·AL

We're Matthew and Natalie, and together we run TU·ET·AL, a small-batch botanical soap, skincare, and scent studio based in the Catskill Mountains of New York. We make everything ourselves: cold process soap cured for four to six weeks, botanical oil infusions, and essential oil compositions built rather than bought as fragrance. Our practice sits at the intersection of nature, design, and alchemy. We choose ingredients for their material properties and their symbolic weight, drawing on mineral, celestial, and herbal traditions in both formulation and naming. Bars like Obsidian and Solstice, our Aeternum face oil, and Quintessence candle reflect a process rooted in historical apothecary craft as much as contemporary skincare chemistry. Packaging is part of the object for us: European glass, letterpress printing, restrained typography. We want to make everyday things considered enough to stay visible in the home instead of disappearing into a cabinet. Matthew handles formulation, production, and systems. Natalie shapes the aesthetic and emotional register of the brand. The work stays small in scale and intentional by design.
