How It's Made

Two hand-shaped walnut forms—organic and warm—rest on the steel base, magnetically affixed but fully movable. The third form is fixed in place: a bold, vertical slab that evokes the spine of a heavy, ancient book. Each walnut form is uniquely carved.

Materials

Solid black walnut, weathered steel, rare earth magnets. Finish: Hand-oiled walnut, raw sealed steel.

Care & Use

Designed to support a few special books or small objects, but also to be handled and engaged with.
