Metalwork
After college, I worked in the corporate business world for a Fortune 500 company. On my way home from work one day, I came across a discarded shopping cart and decided to take it home, disassemble it, and turn it into a coffee table and chairs. This chance encounter with the shopping cart on a street in Chicago changed my career path, and I’ve been designing and making metal furniture and furnishings now for over thirty years. I design and fabricate metal work for the trade, retail buyers and individuals. I work with architects and interior designers to create pieces that range from large-scale installations to decoration and furniture for residences and stores and other businesses. I have created metal furnishings, furniture, and sculpture for restaurants, including Eleven Madison Park, Gramercy Tavern, Gabriel Kreuther, Craft, Hearth, and Riverpark. I have also created metal work for hotels, retailers, companies, and institutions ranging from the MGM Grand to Pace University.
